Chair Yoga Workshop

Please note that this group/workshop requires that you register with COPE prior to attending. Contact us at 905-668-6223 ext. 613 to inquire about availability. During this workshop we will listen to our bodies – do what feels good, and never force ourselves into a place of pain or discomfort. Each class contains a few core movements and elements, though not always in the same order. We will practice breathwork, light meditation, movement (muscle/core engagement, maneuvering the spine in different directions, muscle work – lengthening/strengthening) and community connection!
This Chair Yoga class is appropriate for all ages and abilities.
Here are a few things participants will need:
- Sturdy stable chair (without arms)
- Yoga blocks or books to use under feet
- Yoga strap/scarf/long sock
- A FUN AND OPEN ATTITUDE
