CENTRAL EAST LHIN

The Central East LHIN of the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care works with local health providers and community members to determine and fund health priorities in Durham Region. Community Care Durham is part of the Central East Local Health Integration Network.

The United Way – Centraide Movement had its roots in Canada in the early part of the 20th century. Since the mid 70’s, the United Way-Centraide Movement in Canada has grown and adapted quickly to embrace the diversity of evolving communities. Each United Way-Centraide is an independent, community-based organization.

The Ontario Trillium Foundation is Canada’s leading charitable grant-making foundation. As an agency of the Government of Ontario, they work with not-for-profit and charitable organizations from across the province.
