CCD seeks new members for its Volunteer Board of Directors

Community Care Durham (CCD) is looking for local leaders to join its Volunteer Board of Directors.

CCD is a multi-service registered charitable organization, providing a broad range of community support services for clients 16 years of age and older. Our services help clients with their mental and physical health needs while providing care partners with much needed respite.

Helen Brenner, President, CCD Board of Directors, said the Board has accomplished so much in the past year and there are some exciting things on the horizon, including the launch of a capital campaign to redevelop CCD’s Whitby location into an integrated Community Health and Wellness Centre.

“Everything we do at Community Care Durham is client focused. Last year we modernized the organization to create better processes that will serve our clients better. Looking forward, our idea of a Health and Wellness Hub will take client-focused care to another level. I’m excited by what’s yet to come for CCD.”

CCD has an established board of talented directors who look forward to working with new colleagues. Board members serve terms of anywhere between two and four years.

CCD is looking for directors who have backgrounds in:

• Technology
• Finance
• Commercial Business
• Legal

Interested candidates can forward their resumes to: rkeys@communitycaredurham.on.ca.
