A number of exceptional volunteers were honoured at Community Care Durham’s recent Annual General Meeting held virtually on June 28. One of those volunteers was Catherine Ewing.

Catherine met Jillian Howsam, a Service Coordinator in Scugog, who presented her the North Durham Community Hub – Uxbridge Lifetime Membership Award.

Catherine has volunteered as a Transportation Driver at CCD for 20 years and was praised for going the extra mile for our clients, especially during  the peak of COVID-19.
