Community Care Durham launches new website

After months of work, the site sports a new look, and is easier to navigate.

WHITBY – Community Care Durham (CCD) is sporting a new online presence these days with the launch of its redesigned website.
The new look and content was developed in partnership with stakeholders from across CCD. The website – which can still be found at communitycaredurham.on.ca – allows visitors to more easily navigate its pages and consistently find the information they are looking for, including the cost and location of all of CCD’s programs and services, how to register and, an easy to navigate request service button.
Donors wanting to support CCD can do so with the click of a button and opportunities for Volunteering or joining the Community Care team of employees are also easily found.
The website now also includes a News blog of easy to access stories and a Calendar of Events with links to register for webinars and special events.
Testimonials from clients, caregivers, staff and volunteers help to highlight how CCD continues to support people and strengthen communities.
Local website developers My Brother Darryl, located in Scugog, supported the design and development of the website.
“A website refresh was long overdue,” CCD CEO James Meloche said. “We were looking to upgrade our current website with a better design, making it easier for users to find the information they need in a timely fashion as we continue to support local residents to live safely in their own homes. This website does all that.”
Not only does the newly designed website provide a more user-friendly experience, but staff will be able to add more functionality to provide ongoing positive interactions. Watch for changes to the Food and Nutrition online ordering form in the coming weeks.
Everyone is invited to visit the website at www.communitycaredurham.on.ca and provide their feedback using the Contact Us email form at the bottom of every page.
