Community Care Durham (CCD) has you covered if you need a drive.

Please note: As of September 1, 2024, CCD is going CASH-FREE and will no longer accept cash payments for our services. Clients will be invoiced for all services, including Transportation.

The organization has made this change to better serve our clients, especially those who find it challenging to get to the bank and have asked to be invoiced for all services. Although this change has already been implemented for most of our services, it hasn’t been used for Transportation until now. Notices have been sent out, our website has been updated, and our volunteer drivers are informing clients when they pick them up for drives. Nothing will change for clients except their method of payment.
