Profile
For over 30 years, Community Care Durham (CCD) has been dedicated to providing care and support to adults and their caregivers who have needs related to aging, physical and/or mental health living in Durham Region. Services provided by Community Care Durham help adults in need maintain their health and independence at home – where they want to live – and to help adults and families cope with the increasing demand of caring for loved ones.
Our mission statement “Community Care helps people live at home with a network of support in caring communities” demonstrates CCD’s commitment to providing our clients with access to a range of valuable services such as: Meals on Wheels, Transportation, Foot Care, Mental Health Support and In-Home Respite (Caregiver Relief). This would not be possible without the support of our volunteers, partners and community supporters.
