Community Care Durham has established a solid base of community supporters and partners including the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, the United Way of Durham Region and donors who contribute to the successful operation of Community Care Durham and the development and delivery of our services.
Local Health Integration Network (LHIN)
United Way of Durham Region
Created by the Government of Ontario in 2006, the Local Health Integration Networks in Ontario the Local Health Integration Networks in Ontario  work with local health providers and community members to determine the health service priorities of Ontario's regions. Community Care Durham is part of the Central East Local Health Integration Network. 

The United Way - Centraide Movement had its roots in Canada in the early part of the 20th century. Since the mid 70s, the United Way - Centraide Movement in Canada has grown and adapted quickly to embrace the diversity of evolving communities. Each United Way - Centraide is an independent, community-based organization.
