Description: Take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to see beyond the gates of 8 private gardens in rural and in town settings of Uxbridge. Homeowners enjoy this time to share their gardens, talk about plants and answer questions. Purchase your tickets in advance to be eligible to win amazing Garden Themed Prizes. Draws will be held weekly leading up to the event. The Grand Prize Winner will be announced on the day of.

Event: Annual Fall Garden Glory Tour

Location: Community Care Durham – Clarington at 2440 Hwy. 2, Unit 1, Bowmanville, ON


Description: This event is a gardener’s delight. Come and participate in our Annual Fall Garden Glory Tour. Various artisans will be displaying and selling unique items at the gardens. Admission is $20.00 and includes a boxed lunch, booklet and map. Tickets can be purchased at Van Belle Garden Centre in Courtice, Rekker Gardens or The Potting Bench in Bowmanville. Call the Clarington office at 905-623-2261 for more information. This fundraising event is sponsored by the Bowmanville Horticultural Society and Community Care Durham-Clarington. Enjoy these beautiful gardens on September 11th.

Event: Official Opening Celebrations at the Clarington office

Location: Clarington office at 2440 Hwy #2, Unit 1 in Bowmanville


Description: Join us as we celebrate our Official Opening of the Clarington new location.  The Clarington Home Support and COPE Mental Health Programs and the Adult Day Program have both relocated to the G.B. Rickard Recreation Complex at the northwest corner of Hwy #2 and Durham Regional Road 57.  Take a tour of the new facilities which houses the Adult Day Program, Home Support and COPE Mental Health Programs.  Refreshments will be served.  Ribbon Cutting is at 4:00 pm.
